Opportunity for Artists – Collaboratively deliver holiday activities for families

Download information pack

De La Warr Pavilion, Hastings Contemporary and Towner Eastbourne are looking for six artists in East Sussex to work together to deliver creative activities for families.

Selected artists will be paired and work together to plan and deliver creative workshops at one organisation over four school holidays; October 2026, February, April and May 2027.

Workshops will respond to themes such as Sussex ecology and heritage, inclusive practice and intergenerational creative play, and non-outcome focused making.

All three organisations  are committed to supporting early career artists and practitioners from a broad range of art forms to develop their socially engaged practice.

More information can be found in our information pack.

Fees:

Towner Maker Fairs

Our popular makers’ fairs are returning for 2026 with even more opportunities for visitors to snap up products from talented local craftspeople and small businesses, plus the very best makers from further afield.

Towner Print Fair – Applications now closed (deadline midday Friday 20 March)

Saturday 6 to Sunday 7 June 2026 | 10.00am to 4.00pm

The popular maker fairs continue with Towner’s first ever Print Fair. Applications are welcomed from emerging and established UK-based artists, designers, and illustrators working in all formats; screen print, etching, monoprint, giclee, risograph, lithograph, collagraph, linocut, letterpress and other print media. We encourage a range of price points to suit all budgets.

Please note that a submission of interest does not guarantee a stall. To ensure that we are supporting a broad range of independent makers, there will be a selection process. You will be contacted by 26 March with the result of your application. Click below to apply:

Please make sure you read our FAQs carefully. Should you have any other questions, get in touch by emailing Towner towner@townereastbourne.org.uk
